The Classic Trench Coat

You probably know by now that I’m a sucker for outerwear and I firmly believe that the right coat can take any outfit to the next level. My previous fashion post was all about the leather biker jacket, so today I wanted to feature another timeless piece of outerwear… the classic trench coat. The one I’m wearing here is from Karen Millen and is one of my all-time favourite coats. It’s structured but not stiff and heavy; it’s very well made and I love the details on it. Spring weather can be quite unpredictable and I often find myself stuck with what to wear at this time of year, but my trench coat has been a real style saviour! It gives a fair bit of warmth when it’s chilly outside and looks chic with just about anything. I bought this one last year and it’s no longer available, but you can find similar ones linked below.
